Hi Mount Kitchen

Remodeling does not have to mean ignoring the original features of a home. In this kitchen remodel, we brought back the aspects of the home that the clients were in love with and updated the rest to be functional and modern. We crafted custom inset cabinetry to accommodate the existing space and pay tribute to the original kitchen. This included a new dining room built-in with leaded glass doors to match the original doors in the home.

This kitchen features a modern black island housing a secondary oven and open storage for cookbooks. The brushed gold accents are the jeweled accent to a clean and simplistic space. The custom rounded edge stovetop niche is the perfect little detail to highlight an ordinary space. We saved the ironing board storage, now spice storage, and blended it with the rest of the cabinetry. The original swinging door was refinished with new leaded glass and a decorative push plate. With every detail crafted by hand, this cozy high-end modern kitchen completes this 1923 home.
