Enderis Park

The owners of a 1935 Tudor wanted to make the most of their compact kitchen while creating a better flow for guests, upgrading their appliances and elevating the entire space aesthetically. They chose to work with the existing custom-made cabinets, which were adapted to fit new appliances and freshened with updated hardware. A new wall of cabinets, matching the originals, was built to surround Sub-Zero appliances and create more storage.

We transformed the kitchen’s look and feel by creating focal points and adding touches to complement the home’s bones: terrazzo-style porcelain tile flooring, new lighting fixtures, quartz countertops, accent tiles around the pasta-pot filler and subway-style backsplash tiles. A new sage-green island with a marble countertop offers soft contrast to the surrounding cabinetry. To create more space for entertaining, an adjacent sunroom was redesigned as an eating area with a built-in buffet, window seating and an archway transition.
