Functionality and Flow- that’s what this young couple were looking to add to this much used back entryway. The original space had three separate doors that crowded the hallway – a closet that was not used – and basement entry doorway that had a shower curtain draped across it. We opened up the space to create a large mudroom with time period cabinetry – tons of storage – and a statement piece entry door with transom window to infuse plenty of light into the space.
