This whole home renovation in Milwaukee transformed an underused attic into a complete primary suite with a spacious bedroom, walk-in closet, primary bathroom and private home office. To accommodate the attic conversion, the existing roof was removed and rebuilt, creating the ceiling height and usable square footage needed for comfortable everyday living. This major home renovation allowed the homeowners to expand their living space and add a private primary suite without leaving the home and neighborhood they loved.
The multi-space home remodel also included a reconfigured first-floor laundry room and bathroom, an updated three-season porch and extensive exterior improvements. A new front portico, doors and windows refreshed the home’s appearance while improving comfort and function. By coordinating structural renovations, interior remodeling and exterior updates within one cohesive design-build project, Story Hill Renovations created a home that feels larger, more functional and thoughtfully updated for long-term living.
